Da un lato le Accademie di Belle Arti, dall’altro spazi artistici indipendenti, da riunire e incontrare su una linea condivisa di ricerca e sperimentazione che va dal centro alle zone limitrofe. Dal 22 maggio al 29 giugno 2023, appuntamento a Roma con OOR – Out of Residency, il progetto espositivo curato da Porter Ducrist, realizzato da Associazione In Situ, in collaborazione con La Zibaldina, che mette in dialogo i fellows delle istituzioni culturali straniere con gli artist run space che puntellano la periferia capitolina, con l’obiettivo di connettere, contaminare e far incontrare i protagonistə della scena artistica romana.
Per OOR - Out Of Residency CONDOTTO48 ha avuto il piacere di ospitare Anna Solal, borsistə presso Villa Medici.
Anna Solal nasce nel 1988 a Dreux. Vive e lavora a Parigi ed è rappresentatə dalla New Galerie (Parigi). Appartiene a una nuova generazione di artistə che si distinguono per la predilezione alla pratica home made, prendendo in prestito e unendo tecniche legate all’arte e all’artigianato. Le sue installazioni sono realizzate a partire da oggetti di scarto. Brutalmente figurativa, questa iconografia pop, tesa e mutevole, evidenzia l’isolamento dell’individuo e una forma di astrazione nella quale egli naviga. Anna Solal ha esposto al Palais de Tokyo di Parigi, al CAC Passerelle di Brest, al museo Les Abattoirs di Tolosa e all’Interstate Projects di New York.

On one side the Academies of Fine Arts, on the other independent artistic spaces, to be brought together and met on a shared line of research and experimentation that goes from the center to the surrounding areas. For OOR - Out Of Residency CONDOTTO48 had the pleasure of hosting Anna Solal, a scholarship holder at Villa Medici.
Anna Solal was born in 1988 in Dreux. She lives and works in Paris and is represented by the New Galerie (Paris). She belongs to a new generation of artists who stand out for their predilection for homemade practices, borrowing and combining techniques related to art and craftsmanship. Her installations are made from discarded objects that she collects during her walks. These objects are then recomposed into aerial motifs, such as birds or kites. Brutally figurative, this pop iconography, tense and changeable, highlights the isolation of the individual and a form of abstraction in which he navigates. Anna Solal has exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the CAC Passerelle in Brest, the Les Abattoirs museum in Toulouse and the Interstate Projects in New York.
