​GENERATION WHAT? 01. Tubature
​UN PROGETTO DI SUSANNA MARIA PROIETTI

Il primo incontro per il PODCAST/TALK  TUBATURE ha come titolo “Generation What” e vuole porre l’attenzione a chiedersi il ruolo della generazione attuale, come si esprime, la generazione di cosa. La conversazione ha come tema da sviluppare la creatività, che viene analizzata e affrontata in più campi. La creatività, concetto complesso, è definibile come la capacità di generare idee, concetti o soluzioni originali, innovative e utili. Dall’etimologia del termine si cerca di capire cos’é e come si affronta la creatività, attivando una riflessione circa l’approccio che la generazione attuale ha nei confronti di quest’ultima.
La creatività è presente in diversi aspetti della vita quotidiana, e ci si chiede dunque qual è il nostro rapporto con il tema al giorno d’oggi. Nell’epoca attuale in cui viviamo, vige la componente dell’essere individui performanti e creativi per autodefinirsi, ma allo stesso tempo lo spazio di riferimento circostante appare saturo di idee, e la stessa creatività sembra presentarsi come una sfida, con se stessi e con gli altri. In questo incontro andremo a riflettere sul significato della tematica nel quotidiano e si aprirà un dibattito che vede protagonisti ambienti in cui la stessa è chiave di sperimentazione e lettura. L’intento è quello di scambiare pareri circa le paure, i blocchi e le frustrazioni che comporta non sentirsi all’altezza, partendo dai sentimenti contrastanti dello stesso presentatore che cercherà di attivare un dialogo libero e non filtrato con gli invitatə e il pubblicə. 

Ti è mai capitato di sentirti vuotə solo perché non sai come esprimerti? La creatività è definibile come la capacità di generare idee, concetti o soluzioni originali, innovative e utili. In una società che ci vuole sempre performanti, vige l’imperativo di essere creativi per autodefinirsi, ma allo stesso tempo lo spazio di riferimento circostante appare saturo di idee, e la stessa creatività sembra presentarsi come una sfida, con se stessi e con gli altri. E noi, siamo la Generazione di che cosa? Ti aspettiamo per parlare insieme di creatività nel quotidiano. Non daremo risposte, solo ottimi spunti di riflessione.

GIULIA CAMINITO
Natə a Roma nel 1988, è laureata in filosofia politica. È figliə di Maurizio Caminito, direttore delle Biblioteche di Roma. Ha esordito nella narrativa nel 2016 con il romanzo La grande A, ascrivibile al genere postcoloniale africano e basato su vicende familiari, ricevendo numerosi riconoscimenti tra i quali il Premio Berto, il Premio Bagutta (sezione Opera Prima) e il Premio Brancati (sezione Giovani). In seguito ha pubblicato la raccolta di racconti Guardavamo gli altri ballare il tango nel 2017, la fiaba La ballerina e il marinaio nel 2018 e il romanzo Un giorno verrà nel 2019, ottenendo con quest'ultimo il Premio Fiesole. Nel 2021 ha dato alle stampe il suo terzo romanzo, L'acqua del lago non è mai dolce], finalista al Premio Strega 2021, vincitore del Premio Strega Off] e del Premio Campiello. Collaborə con l'Espresso. 

ALESSANDRA CECALUPO
Natə in Molise (1994), adottatə da Roma vent'anni dopo. Ph.D in Psicologia Sociale e dello Sviluppo, Psicologə e Psicoterapeutə familiare in formazione. E’ statə dottorandə presso Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza” e docente presso l’Università degli studi di Perugia, ha avuto varie collaborazioni con Istituzioni come “La ginestra”, (IIS De Amicis–Cattaneo) con Cooperativa CASSIAVASS. Attualmente è docente presso Uniroma2 Tor Vergata.

DIEGO MIGUEL MIRABELLA
(1988) in molti dei suoi progetti si avvale dell’immaginario, degli usi e della cultura di altri artistə o artigianə, allo scopo di indagare il confine di comunicazione e di scambio tra sé stessə e “l’altrə”, creando lavori che scaturiscono da questo dialogo. The first meeting for the PODCAST/TALK TUBATURE is entitled “Generation What” and wants to focus attention on asking the role of the current generation, how it expresses itself, the generation of what. The conversation has as its theme to develop creativity, which is analyzed and addressed in several fields. Creativity, a complex concept, can be defined as the ability to generate original, innovative and useful ideas, concepts or solutions. From the etymology of the term we try to understand what creativity is and how to deal with it, activating a reflection on the approach that the current generation has towards the latter.
Creativity is present in various aspects of daily life, and we therefore ask ourselves what our relationship with the theme is nowadays. In the current era in which we live, the component of being performing and creative individuals to self-define is in force, but at the same time the surrounding reference space appears saturated with ideas, and creativity itself seems to present itself as a challenge, with oneself and with others. In this meeting we will reflect on the meaning of the theme in everyday life and a debate will open that sees as protagonists environments in which it is the key to experimentation and reading. The intent is to exchange opinions about the fears, blocks and frustrations that come from not feeling up to par, starting from the contrasting feelings of the presenter himself who will try to activate a free and unfiltered dialogue with the guests and the audience.

Have you ever felt empty just because you don't know how to express yourself? Creativity can be defined as the ability to generate original, innovative and useful ideas, concepts or solutions. In a society that always wants us to perform, there is an imperative to be creative to define ourselves, but at the same time the surrounding reference space seems saturated with ideas, and creativity itself seems to present itself as a challenge, with ourselves and with others. And we, we are the Generation of what? We are waiting for you to talk together about creativity in everyday life. We will not give answers, only excellent food for thought.

GIULIA CAMINITO
Born in Rome in 1988, she has a degree in political philosophy. She is the daughter of Maurizio Caminito, director of the Libraries of Rome. She made her debut in fiction in 2016 with the novel La grande A, attributable to the African postcolonial genre and based on family events, receiving numerous awards including the Berto Prize, the Bagutta Prize (First Work section) and the Brancati Prize (Young People section). She later published the collection of short stories Guardavamo gli altri danza il tango in 2017, the fairy tale La ballerina e il marinaio in 2018 and the novel Un giorno verrà in 2019, obtaining the Fiesole Prize with the latter. In 2021 she published her third novel, L'acqua del lago non è mai dolce], a finalist for the 2021 Strega Prize, winner of the Strega Off Prize and the Campiello Prize. She collaborates with L'Espresso.

ALESSANDRA CECALUPO
Born in Molise (1994), adopted by Rome twenty years later. Ph.D in Social and Developmental Psychology, Psychologist and Family Psychotherapist in training. She was a PhD student at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a lecturer at the University of Perugia, she has had various collaborations with institutions such as “La ginestra”, (IIS De Amicis–Cattaneo) with the CASSIAVASS Cooperative. She is currently a lecturer at Uniroma2 Tor Vergata.

DIEGO MIGUEL MIRABELLA
(1988) in many of his projects uses the imagery, uses and culture of other artists or artisans, in order to investigate the boundary of communication and exchange between himself and “the other”, creating works that arise from this dialogue.
